IOT Sales Associate

Our client is seeking an IIoT Sales Associate to drive new business for a growing digital services division focused on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), manufacturing productivity software, and subscription-based technology solutions. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role focused on prospecting, developing, and closing new customer accounts while demonstrating the business value of software solutions to manufacturing and industrial organizations.
Job Title: IIoT Sales Associate
Compensation: $75,000 Base Salary / $150,000 OTE + Company Car & Car Allowance
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel: Up to 75% travel throughout North America
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience with responsibility for prospecting, developing, and closing net-new customer accounts.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and generating self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting and relationship development.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle, including discovery, product demonstrations, trials or proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Strong consultative sales experience with the ability to identify customer challenges, demonstrate business value, and communicate ROI.
- Experience selling subscription-based products or recurring-revenue solutions to business customers.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical software concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience utilizing CRM, prospecting, sales enablement, and related sales tools to manage pipeline and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales experience within manufacturing, industrial machinery, industrial automation, or a related industrial market.
- Experience selling IIoT, Industry 4.0, manufacturing analytics, machine monitoring, OEE, MES, predictive maintenance, remote service, or other connected-machine solutions.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and selling to stakeholders across operations, engineering, maintenance, service, and IT/OT.
- Experience selling solutions involving multi-stakeholder decision-making, technical validation, trials or pilots, and recurring-revenue models.
Additional Information
- Remote position with up to 75% customer-facing travel throughout North America, with occasional international travel.
- Company car and car allowance provided.
- This is a new-business-focused sales position responsible for the sales process from initial prospecting through close and formal handoff to the post-sale customer team.
- Valid driver's license and passport required for travel.
