# Scientific Systems Operations LeadApplylocations: US - MD, Rockvilletime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 41672**Job Family:**Systems Engineering**Travel Required:**None**Clearance Required:**Ability to Obtain Public Trust**What You Will Do:*** Oversees day-to-day operations of computing platforms, including monitoring system health and performance.* Responds to incidents, conducts troubleshooting, and performs root cause analysis.* Manages capacity planning, system tuning, and scaling to meet workload demands.* Executes preventive maintenance, patching, and configuration management.* Provides user support and maintains operational documentation.**What You Will Need:*** Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field* SEVEN 7 years supporting complex computing environments* Strong system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills* Experience with automation and operational tools* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Experience supporting high-performance or data-intensive environments* Familiarity with service management or reliability practices.* Prior NIH experienceThe annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00.
