As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to changing situations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while demonstrating agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
