Mechanical AssemblerThis position is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical assemblies while following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions.Perform wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and connector installation.Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, calipers, heat guns, and other specialized assembly equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing documentation.Perform inspections and verify product quality throughout the assembly process.Maintain compliance with IPC and J-STD workmanship standards.Document production activities, labor tracking, and assembly completion within company systems.Identify and report quality concerns, material shortages, and discrepancies in work instructions.Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.Meet daily production schedules, quality requirements, and efficiency goals.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Essential SkillsAssemblyMechanicalHand toolPower toolTape measureSolderingTorque wrenchesCalipersPressure GaugesWiringElectricalJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
