TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Eureka, California, 95501!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 4:1 Description: Start date: ASAP for first-time travelers. Weekend requirement: 3 out of 6 weekends. Travelers will cover the Observation Unit with emergency hold patients. Call is not required. Previous experience with a charting system is preferred. Candidates must float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities. Travelers refusing to float may result in termination of the assignment. Two references covering one year are required. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Identification of and reporting neglect or abuse is essential. Certified facility for STEMI and stroke care. Daily census includes various age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and pharmacy services. Special procedures include trauma care and emergency interventions. Modules may be required and are considered non-billable. Time spent on modules is self-reported and recorded in training transcripts. Travelers should seek housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.
