Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience
• Proficient in assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures
• Scrub and circulate during complex cardiac surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team
• Ensure adherence to strict sterile and safety protocols
• Accurately document procedures and update patient records
• Support and educate patients and their families before and after procedures
