Tax Accountant

I’m hiring for my client, a well-established and growing public accounting firm, seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join their collaborative and client-focused team. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys building client relationships, managing a variety of returns, and working in an environment that values accuracy, ownership, and long-term career growth. What You’ll Do Prepare a variety of tax returns including Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Estate, Gift, and Tax-Exempt returns Provide client accounting and bookkeeping support, including write-up services Assist with tax planning initiatives and special projects Partner directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service Review financial records and maintain accurate workpapers and documentation What We’re Looking For 4+ years of tax preparation experience across multiple return types Degreed CPA preferred Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and General Ledger accounting Experience with tax preparation software (ProSeries experience is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Strong communication skills and a client-service mindset Self-starter who takes ownership of work and thrives in a fast-paced environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
