RN - PCU

PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking an experienced PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess cardiac drip experience with the ability to titrate and manage medication as required. This role plays a critical part in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Provide care to patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions, including CHF, Afib, and post-operative heart surgery patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and utilize rapid response protocols when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a stepdown or PCU setting.
• Current RN license in the state of practice (Compact license preferred).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, and central line management.
