Clinical Project Manager (Contractor) - Aesthetic Medical Device Focus

Job Purpose:
To manage clinical projects for aesthetic medical devices effectively, ensuring smooth execution of clinical affairs under a contract-based engagement, with flexibility and delivery-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary liaison between the company and sponsors/vendors for assigned medical device studies.
- Leads cross-functional teams and external partners (e.g., CROs, testing labs, device suppliers) in a contractor capacity.
- Manages project deliverables tied to milestone-based payments and quality assurance.
- Controls project scope and costs on a time-bound basis to mitigate financial risks under contract terms.
- Ensures compliance with company SOPs, policies, and applicable medical device regulations (e.g., MDR, FDA, NMPA).
- Supports or leads bid defense processes for new aesthetic device projects.
- Provides necessary training to project team members and supports effective team collaboration.
- Tracks and reports project progress to stakeholders; provides feedback on team performance to line managers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Medical, Pharmacology, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. Diploma candidates with strong PM experience in medical devices will also be considered.
- Good knowledge of medical device development processes, including regulatory pathways, GCP, and clinical trial operations for aesthetic or cosmetic indication devices.
- Current GCP certificate required. Business skills such as budgeting and vendor management are a plus.
- Minimum 6–8 years of industry experience, including at least 4 years of project management experience in medical devices . Experience in aesthetic devices (e.g., laser, RF, ultrasound, body contouring) is highly preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; local language fluency required.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office and familiarity with CTMS, eTMF, or device trial tracking tools.
- Strong project management and time management skills; ability to work independently as a contractor.
