Job Description

The PACU Registered Nurse will provide care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions post-surgery.
• Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
• Perform assessments and document patient progress in the electronic health record (EPIC).
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare staff.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• PACU experience preferred; ICU or ED experience is helpful.
