We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join a non-profit organization in South Carolina on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This role supports day-to-day marketing operations by turning data into useful insights, helping execute outreach efforts, and coordinating communication across channels. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and comfortable managing both campaign details and event-related activities in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Review marketing data and generate reports that highlight campaign performance, audience engagement, and opportunities for improvement. • Assist with the development and distribution of marketing communications across email, social media, and other outreach channels. • Coordinate direct marketing initiatives by organizing schedules, tracking deliverables, and helping ensure campaigns launch on time. • Support event-related marketing tasks, including promotional preparation, communication follow-up, and logistics coordination. • Maintain marketing activity calendars and help keep projects aligned with organizational priorities and deadlines. • Contribute to social media efforts by preparing content, monitoring engagement, and supporting ongoing audience growth. • Work with internal stakeholders to gather information needed for campaigns, reports, and communication materials.• Experience supporting marketing, communications, or campaign coordination activities. • Ability to analyze reports and interpret data to support marketing decisions. • Hands-on knowledge of email campaigns and direct marketing practices. • Familiarity with social media platforms and content coordination for business or organizational use. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Experience assisting with event promotion, coordination, or related marketing support. • Clear written and verbal communication skills in a team-oriented environment.
