Mechanical And Electrical Build Technician

Mechanical and electrical build technicians assemble and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components required for the construction of automated systems. Willingness to learn robotic programming, welding, and machining are a plus. Good customer service skills are also a must as travel to customer sites for installations and troubleshooting of systems is a part of this position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Mechanical assembly of automated systems.
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues with automated systems.
• The electrical assembly of automated systems.
• Troubleshooting and repair electrical issues with automated systems.
• Travel to customer facilities for installation and/or troubleshooting and repair of automated systems.
• Install pneumatic lines and components for automated systems.
• Assist electrical department in installing cables and components in automated systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A degree in mechatronics or related study is preferred but not required.
• 4 years of experience working with automated machinery is preferred.
• Technical skills – electrical, mechanical, customer service.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Computer skills – word, excel, e-mail.
• Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR
• COVID vaccinated preferred
• Willing to travel.
• Works well independently and with a team.
• Great attitude a must.
