Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse located in Torrance, California, is needed for an immediate start at a dedicated healthcare facility. The position involves caring for neonatal patients up to 28 days old, including those born prematurely or with special healthcare needs. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, at least 1 year of experience working in a NICU or neonatal unit, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, experience with NICU Level 1-3 patients, charting experience using Epic system, willingness to float between units, weekend shifts required, at least one year of recent relevant experience in neonatal care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I or Level II NICU setting, familiarity with Neonatal Intensive Care Procedures and equipment
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work three of the five specified holidays and accommodate a block schedule if needed. RTO requests must be included at the time of submission for approval. The facility emphasizes a collaborative interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.
