Quality Technician

Pay: $25.30 per hour and a $1,000.00, 90-day probation completion bonus. Reports to: This position reports to the plant Quality Supervisor and additional reporting to Quality Manager and Plant Manager. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Perform inspection and tests precisely as described in the applicable procedures and work instructions. This includes proper and safe sample collection and their preparation. Proper use and maintenance of lab instruments and test equipment including the verification their calibration status prior to use. Accurately perform electronic data entry of test results. Understand and interpret test and inspection results and communicate issues to management in a time manner. Performs inventory cycle counts as needed. Detail-oriented to ensure reliable and precise test results and accurate record keeping. Understand and follow good laboratory practices; proper care and use of lab equipment, work in a safe manner, understand the location, purpose and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, with experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Quality Lab strongly preferred Entry level computer skills in MS Word and Excel Must be able to work in a laboratory environment We are currently seeking only local candidates within reasonable commuting distance to our Fernley, NV facility at this time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
