The Plant Controller will oversee the financial operations of the plant, managing a small finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and stringent cost controls. This role requires regular interaction with corporate finance through monthly reporting and meetings, while coordinating various financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Expertise in financial systems such as Sage and SAP Concur is essential to maintain robust internal controls and efficient cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Oversee budget creation and adherence to cost controls
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and corporate financial standards
• Lead and develop a small finance team of 1-5 members
• Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits
• Manage plant cash flow and financial transactions
• Prepare and submit regulatory financial reports

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in financial control roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency with financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Sage, and SAP Concur
• Strong skills in audit coordination and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and leadership abilities
