Quick Facts: Location: 400 West Mineral King Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291 Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Call coverage, flexible hours Hours/Week: As needed based on scheduling Employment Type: Locum Licensure: CA Medical License & OB Certification required Experience: Prior OB hospitalist work preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements where applicable What You’ll Do: Manage obstetric patients in a high-volume hospital setting (approximately 4,690 deliveries annually) Provide emergent gynecological care and support for Level III NICU cases Collaborate with anesthesia team for 24/7 in-house support Deliver emergent gynecologic procedures as required Support residents and community providers during emergencies Contribute to a pseudo laborist model with unassigned and private patients What You Need: Valid California medical license and OB hospitalist certification Experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with strong emergency skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor About the Assignment: This role involves coverage at a busy hospital with a Level III NICU, supporting a pseudo laborist model through collaboration with local providers.
