Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join the shared-services team of a well-established manufacturing company in Mesa. This role supports multiple U.S. business units and focuses on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, banking activity, and audit support. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and interested in becoming a long-term internal resource with potential for future leadership growth. What You’ll Do Prepare journal entries and support month-end close Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project activity Support banking, payroll, audit, tax, and budgeting activities Maintain accurate schedules and process documentation Help improve accounting workflows and internal controls Partner with accounting teams across multiple locations What We’re Looking For 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience Strong month-end close, journal entry, accrual, and reconciliation skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP Fixed asset and capital project experience Multi-entity or shared-services experience preferred Manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial experience preferred Advanced Excel and ERP experience Costpoint or Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus Ability to meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements Why Consider This Opportunity Four-day workweek with Fridays off Stable, financially strong organization Experienced and highly tenured accounting team Broad exposure across multiple U.S. business units Long-term growth and leadership potential Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr UpRecruit
