Hatch is seeking a Engineering Intern (Water) . Reporting to the  Infrastructure group, you will support offices globally working from our  Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Assisting with developing green stormwater infrastructure and site design, construction plans and details, design calculations, engineering estimates, and specifications

• Use the application of Civil engineering principles to provide efficient, effective, economical and timely solutions to design problems in an interdisciplinary project environment

• Application of innovative sustainable engineering solutions

• Working independently evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications

You bring to the role:

• Candidates with previous internship or co-op experience is an asset
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred
• Willingness to travel to various Hatch offices, project, and supplier sites subject to project requirements
• Previous co-op or internship experience is considered an asset

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
