Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following skills: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC Description: The Emergency Department has 24 beds and a fast track area. Staffing varies by shift with day shift covering 1 charge nurse and 4-9 nurses depending on volume. Night shift covers 1 charge nurse and 9-4 nurses based on demand. Techs and paramedics are utilized to assist in patient care. Patient Ratios are 4:1. The department operates under an electronic medical record system. Shifts are variable with days starting at 7 AM, 9 AM, or 11 AM. Evening shifts begin at 11 AM, 1 PM, or 3 PM, and night shifts start at 7 PM. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with strong critical thinking skills and an outgoing personality. There are no floating areas related to other units in this role. The dress code consists of navy scrubs. Four weekend shifts are required per schedule.
