Housekeeping Aide

Facility: Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Location: Hazlet, NJ Shift: Full-Time Salary: $18/hour Join Our Team Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned. Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, stairways, and elevators. Sanitize and polish fixtures, furnishings, mirrors, windows, and surfaces. Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting. Vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets as needed. Maintain cleanliness standards while following safety procedures. Report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly. Follow assigned cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and respectful approach when interacting with residents and families. Professional, dependable, and reliable work ethic.
