QA LeadLocation: 1305 E Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50319, USARemoteThe position is currently remote; however, it is possible that we could return to an on-site position in the future.The QA Test Lead will be tasked with overseeing the testing performed in the Agile Scrum Teams to ensure the delivery of the highest quality releases. The QA Lead will also provide metrics on the overall testing progress.QA Testing Lead RoleReview and oversee all manual testing efforts performed by System Integrator and State Resources.Participate in story reviews including end to end.Attend Non-Functional Story Reviews & approve testing scenarios.Provide weekly testing and defect metrics to give Leadership a status of the progress of the development efforts for each release stream.Participate in Defect Management ProcessOffer potential testing process improvements and provide Testers with guidance on best practices.Assist with any manual regression testing.Participate in the process of determining which manual test cases will be included in automated regression testing.Experience developing test plans and test casesRequired10 YearsThorough knowledge of manual and automated testingRequired10 YearsExperience testing Web ApplicationsRequired10 YearsExperience developing and executing API test casesRequired10 YearsWorking knowledge of Windows and Unix PlatformsRequired10 YearsExtensive knowledge of testing principles and defect management systems & processesRequired10 YearsDemonstrated ability to transform business scenarios into manual and automated test coverageRequired10 YearsFundamental understanding of SQL database conceptsRequired10 YearsDemonstrated ability to effectively use third party tools and system utilitiesRequired10 YearsAbility to work well in a project teamRequired10 YearsExcellent written and oral communications skills.
