Location: Pasadena, TX Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
- Assemble valves from components
- Calibrate valves
- Install and bend stainless steel tubing
- Read technical drawings and assembly documentation
- Conduct pressure testing and hydro testing (preferred but not required)
- Troubleshoot and repair valve components
Requirements
- Hands-on valve assembly experience
- Experience disassembling and assembling Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs)
- Lapping valve seats and discs
- Calibrating set pressures
- Performing seat leakage and set pressure testing
- Understanding API standards and pressure relief valve operation
- Experience with control valve assembly and repair
- Actuator and positioner setup
- Reading P&IDs and assembly drawings
- Experience with Becker valve assembly
- Leak testing and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
- Pressure testing and hydro testing experience
