Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive therapies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols (if applicable to the assignment). Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions before, during, and after treatments. Recognize and respond promptly to adverse reactions, oncologic emergencies, and changes in patient condition. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based oncology nursing practices.
