We have an exciting part-time Medical Assistant opportunity supporting our hearing healthcare services in Tempe and Gold Canyon, AZ.

This position is for a 4-day work week, Monday–Thursday, from 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, with 2 days each week at our Tempe clinic and 2 days each week at our Gold Canyon clinic.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in helping patients. Responsibilities include supporting and administering hearing screenings for patients and making referrals when necessary.

This role is critical in helping to identify and address hearing issues early, contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.

• Conduct hearing screenings for adult patients.
• Operate and maintain hearing screening equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Accurately record and report screening results.
• Collaborate with hearing healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks related to patient records and equipment maintenance as needed.

The ideal candidate has:

• High school diploma or equivalent - required
• 2 + years of experience in a healthcare setting - required
• Previous experience in hearing healthcare a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour.
