Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT MR certification.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department position
• 3x12 night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with set consecutive nights
• 13-week assignment length
• No on-call requirements
• Performs X-ray procedures in addition to MRI duties, including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma
• May float between sister facilities within the same health system

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required
• BLS and ARRT MR certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable
• ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Proficient in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract at the travel rate
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application for consideration
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Candidates may be asked to disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities as part of the application process
