Line Cook

Location: Longboards Williamsburg 5601 Richmond Road, Suite 1, Williamsburg, VA Longboards Williamsburg is looking for a dependable, energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We’re seeking someone who works well in a fast-paced restaurant, takes pride in preparing quality food, and understands that consistency and teamwork are essential to a great guest experience. Longboards is a busy restaurant open 7 days per week. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to grill, saute and fry, creating a diverse menu of both appetizer and entree plates. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Longboards recipes, portions, and presentation standards Set up and stock your station before each shift Handle grill, fryer, sauté, prep, or other stations as assigned Coordinate with other cooks and front-of-house employees to complete orders accurately and promptly Follow food-safety, sanitation, labeling, and temperature-control procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation Assist with food preparation, deliveries, inventory rotation, and closing duties Minimize food waste and notify management of product or equipment concerns Follow all Longboards Williamsburg policies and Virginia health regulations Qualifications Previous line-cook or restaurant-kitchen experience Ability to remain organized and productive during busy service periods Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds What We Offer $16 - $20 hourly pay based on experience Full-time and part-time opportunities Employee meal discounts Training and opportunities to take on additional responsibility Longboards Williamsburg is an equal-opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr LONGBOARDS WILLIAMSBURG
