Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: Seasonal - Travel Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN experience BLS & ACLS Description: This role is for a Seasonal Travel RN position primarily in the Operating Room. The shift is from 15:00 to 23:00, Monday through Friday. The unit features a main Operating Room with 284 beds and 55 staff members. Staff on day shift includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech. Night shift staff may include 1 RN, 1 Tech, with 2 RNs and 2 Techs on-call. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 or 1:2, though they are never guaranteed. The unit utilizes DaVinci Robotics and operates with an EMR system. Candidates with experience in large trauma facilities and robotics are preferred. Prior experience with the EMR system is beneficial. The unit performs various types of surgical procedures, including vascular and trauma cases. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and are team players. On-call time is required from 17:00 to 23:00, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute response time. Scrubs are provided for the Operating Room.
