REGISTERED NURSE - RN

Job Summary

The Arc Westchester, a leading non-profit social service agency in Westchester County, NY is seeking for a Registered Nurse - RN .

Responsibilities include:

Provide nursing services in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, and in accordance with basic principles of the professional nurse.
Promote good health, prevent illness and ensure needed medical care is provided to individuals living in agency residences.
The RN provide direct and on-call services as well as coordinating and managing of individuals' healthcare.
Train, supervise and evaluate Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP).

Job Requirements:

Must have a NYS license as a Professional Registered Nurse;
Requires a degree in Professional Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred.
At least one(1) year of nursing experience.
Experience with OPWDD Residential Programs.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to keep track and follow medical recommendations.
