Clinical Manager- Ambulatory Surgery Center

The Clinical Manager—Ambulatory Surgery Center combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. The manager is accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. The manager provides strategic vision and operational planning for the assigned unit, leading an inter‑professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidence‑based practices and professional nursing standards. This is a fully onsite role Monday‑Friday day shift. Ideal candidates will have previous leadership experience as well as experience across preoperative, postoperative, and intraoperative settings. Key Relationships Reports to: Clinical Operations Ambulatory Surgery Director Direct Reports: 40 Key Relationships: Anesthesia, Provider Offices, Fort Wayne Hospital Candidate Qualifications Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN). If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN). Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
