Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding associate performance and all other issues as directed by management.
• Ensure that all new associates have adequate training in their assigned work areas before being left alone to complete a task.
• Work directly with quality associates when problems occur to prevent substandard parts from being shipped.
• Investigate and resolve inventory issues as they arise.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all required maintenance activities are performed daily including replacing threaders for driver checks biweekly.
• Team Leaders will be required to learn all jobs in their assigned work areas and operate lines when necessary.
• Responsible for completion of all documentation within the operations of their area.
• Continuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and delivery.
• Provide continuous support for all associates.
• Ensure daily production needs are met to meet the customer's demands and communicate requirements to associates.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding mutual expectations and take personal responsibility and accountability for correcting customer-service problems.
• Ensure all associates are trained and following the proper labeling procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior knowledge of production processes preferred.
• Must have basic written communication skills.
• Must have good problem solving, verbal and interpersonal skills.
