Full Time Inpatient – Urology APRN or PA‑C AdventHealth Medical Group Urology at Lake Nona Campus Covered: Lake Nona Our skilled, well‑known, and award‑winning urologists at AdventHealth Medical Group Urology offer the most advanced surgical and non-surgical treatments for urology conditions affecting both men and women, including minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures and surgery using the da Vinci® Surgical System. General Summary The PA or APRN under the supervision of a physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for: Performing physical examinations of patients and evaluating and treating acute and chronic urologic conditions, including urologic oncology, in the clinic and hospital setting. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory work and X-rays. Monitoring the patient’s course of treatment and making appropriate referrals to a physician or specialist as needed. Collaborating with physicians and staff to provide consistent care and support. Displaying a caring and professional attitude while maintaining personal and professional growth. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public. Schedule Details Schedule is Monday–Friday. Campus Covered: AH Lake Nona. In‑patient responsibilities. Rotating weekend call expectations. Required Education / Experience Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) studies. 1–2 years of experience in Urology, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist roles. Licensure, Certification, and Registration Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license. Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or equivalent. BLS and ACLS.
