Travel Physical Therapist - $1,855 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); 1 year is preferred Must have BLS and state‑specific licensing Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Experience with billing and compliance guidelines Benefits Top paying contracts 24x7 concierge one‑on‑one service to meet your needs Long or short term contracts available nationwide Top 10 agency per recent traveler surveys Job ID: 1432011.
