Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Per Diem OB/GYN Laborist/Hospitalistwith Camellia Women's Health, you will be a vital part of a long-standing, respected practice in Sacramento, dedicated to providing exceptionalwomen's healthcare. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experiencedOB/GYN physicianto managehigh-risk obstetrics, deliver comprehensive labor and delivery services, and handle emergent GYN consults and surgeries within a Level III NICU access hospital setting. Every day you willmanage a dynamic caseload within a busy hospital service, collaborating closely with a supportive team ofOB/GYNs and Nurse Practitioners. You'll utilize your clinical skills inlaborist coverage, addressing both routine and complex obstetric cases, and respond to GYN emergencies, including surgical interventions. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing your shiftswhether it's 6 12-hour shifts or 3 24-hour shifts per month, with options for both day and night rotations, to perfectly align with yourwork-life balance. This hospitalist model allows you to focus on direct patient care in an environment that values continuous professional development through collaborative case discussions. To be successful in this role, you will possess post training experience as a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN specializing in laborist and hospitalist care. You'll demonstrate an unwavering commitment to patient safety and excellent outcomes, especially within diverse patient populations including Medicaid and commercially insured individuals. Job Requirements Required Completion of ACGME accredited training program(s) Board certified or board eligible in Obstectrics and Gynecology Minimum 1 year of post residency OBGYN experience Excellent clinical and surgical skills Must be comfortable working in a busy service and delivering high risk OB patients Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care Ability to consistently commit to a .5 schedule.
