Maintenance & Reliability Leader

Overview As a Site Maintenance & Reliability Leader, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Maintenance / Reliability / Turnaround Strategy at the plant. Responsibilities Lead all maintenance and reliability resources within the plant. Develop the annual and 3‑year maintenance budget plans consistent with the maintenance / reliability strategy. Meet annual goals, objectives, and KPI improvements, including maintenance & turnaround costs and asset reliability. Lead and manage maintenance and reliability personnel in goal setting processes. Set and maintain clear roles, competencies and experience for maintenance and reliability. Drive a culture that everyone plays a role in reliability improvement. Accountable for safety, productivity, quality, and overall effectiveness of the maintenance and reliability workforce. Promote an environment that allows team and individual empowerment. Model expected behaviors for an empowered organization. Ensure the discipline and standards are in place to produce quality products and meet customer needs. Provide administrative leadership to plant personnel on role expectations, compensation, and personal development. Champion use of the Management of Change (MOC) process for changes, modifications, and deletions to equipment, materials, parts, and related maintenance and reliability. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or related discipline) from an ABET accredited program. 5+ years of leadership experience leading or managing cross‑functional teams. Experience within a chemical plant in an engineering, maintenance, or reliability engineering role. Demonstrated leadership experience as a champion for change. Detailed knowledge of maintenance work processes (planning, scheduling, logistics, etc.). Detailed knowledge of reliability strategies and work processes. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Engineering. Broad based experience in various chemical plant areas (Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, etc.). Successful completion of a leadership development training program. Experience with applicable building codes with an NFPA‑NEC, API, or ASME certification. Project Management Professional Certification (PMP). Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP).
