Job Type: Full-Time, Contract to hire
Pay: Competitive / Based on Experience

Weare seeking an experienced  Fabricator/Welder to join its manufacturing team in Siler City, NC. This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and modifying structural and mechanical components used in custom industrial machinery and material-handling systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with welding and metal fabrication, can read drawings and measurements, and is comfortable working with heavy steel components in a manufacturing environment.

• Perform MIG, flux-core, and/or other welding processes as required.
• Fabricate and assemble steel components for industrial machinery and material-handling equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and measurements.
• Cut, fit, position, and weld metal components according to specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, torches, and other shop equipment.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment.
• Perform grinding, finishing, and other preparation work as needed.
• Assist with equipment assembly and installation when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements.
• Experience working with structural steel or heavy industrial equipment is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate common fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, position, and maneuver heavy materials with appropriate equipment.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
