Intern - Environmental, Health & Safety

Job Description

Job Description: The EHS Intern position will be tasked with supporting projects involving regulatory compliance, safety assessments, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. This position offers hands-on experience providing EHS support to manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions:

Provide support for the EHS team to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Review and update EHS policies, procedures, and forms.
Help develop safety procedures, checklists, forms, and training materials.
Assist with plant safety programs, root cause investigations, hazard identification, and safety audits
Assist with environmental waste tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor?s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field at an accredited university
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Junior or Senior level

Preferred Additional Skills:

Safety or environmental programs (actual or classroom)
Manufacturing, industrial, or technical programs (actual or classroom
