Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly, 72-hour guarantee) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Float to support overflow areas and the Emergency Department for patient holds as needed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Active Nursys verification required
• Must be agreeable to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
