The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, helping individuals improve their speech, language, cognitive-communication, and overall quality of life.Medical/Dental/Vision & Prescription Benefits – Begin 1st Day of Full Time EmploymentAdditional benefits include:Long-Term & Short-Term DisabilityEmployer Paid Basic Life & AD&DVoluntary Supplemental LifePaid Time Off BanksHealth Savings AccountVoluntary Critical Illness, Accident & Hospital Indemnity Insurance401K (after 1 year)Employee Assistance ProgramDiscount MarketplaceSupportive work environment with opportunities for professional growthKey ResponsibilitiesConduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.Provide therapy sessions focusing on articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing function.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.QualificationsEducation: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language PathologistCertification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred).Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy (preferred but not required).Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).We are an equal opportunity employer.
