Volunteer Opportunities At Summit Pacific Medical Center Your trusted partner in Health and Wellness, Summit Pacific is a vibrant and expanding public hospital district that operates a Critical Access Hospital with a Level IV trauma designation, three rural healthcare clinics, and a seven-day-a-week urgent care clinic. We pride ourselves on our ability to give patients quick access to a provider. Critical Access Hospital 24/7 Emergency Department Level II Cardiac Center Level III Stroke Center Level IV Trauma Care Volunteers play an important role in supporting our patients, families, staff, and community by contributing their time, talents, and compassion throughout our organization. Volunteer opportunities may be available in a variety of departments and service areas based on organizational need, volunteer interests, and individual skills. Assignments may include providing support to patients and visitors, assisting staff with non-clinical duties, helping with wayfinding and hospitality services, supporting community and employee events, or assisting with administrative tasks. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age unless special approval is granted. Some volunteer positions may require additional onboarding, training, screenings, or certifications depending on the role and department placement. Summit Pacific Medical Center is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and patient-centered environment. Volunteers are expected to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, compassion, and strong communication skills while representing the organization.
