Manager, Homeless Outreach Services

We are hiring a Manager, Homeless Outreach Services to lead programs and services for individuals and families navigating housing instability and/or living unsheltered. The Manager will supervise staff, manage data, ensure quality assurance, oversee client needs, and collaborate with internal and external leadership. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to staff, fostering accountability and growth; lead recruitment and onboarding in collaboration with HR. Train, onboard, and supervise staff, monitoring tasks and client interactions to ensure adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures. Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, policies, and program guidelines, updating processes to reflect best practices and regulatory changes. Support execution of data collection, analysis, evaluation, and quality assurance measures; use metrics to inform improvements. Ensure documentation for direct services meets contractual and funding requirements and submit department reports. Communicate and collaborate with external partners, attending meetings and sharing expertise. Serve as a subject‑matter expert, trainer, and administrator for documentation and data tracking platforms. Maintain knowledge of best practices in homeless prevention, housing supports, and related populations. Provide field coverage to support staff and client caseloads, including assessments and visits; personal vehicle required. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years in mental health, substance use, or homeless services; at least 1 year supervising and managing staff; experience with remote or multi‑location teams; proficiency with HMIS and electronic health systems; case management experience required. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication; strong coordination, organization, confidentiality, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, data platforms); strong personal resilience and stable mental health. Abilities: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituents, express ideas clearly, maintain confidentiality, supervise multiple people, and interact with interns and volunteers. Physical & Emotional Demands: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling items up to 35 pounds; close and distance vision; ability to manage emotional triggers and be mindful of trauma history. Working Conditions: Core hours 9‑5, Monday‑Friday; some evening/weekend flexibility; primarily on‑site with remote options; criminal background, child‑abuse, and credit checks required; drug‑free and alcohol‑abuse‑free; valid driver’s license, car insurance, and vehicle access required. #J-18808-Ljbffr EveryMind.
