Software Quality Analyst- Manual Testing

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Quality Analyst to join our team. The Quality Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the full application of all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes and procedures
• Acts as a manual tester to handle all manual testing duties
• Documents, tracks and verifies defects and fixes in assigned applications
• Assists in the development and streamlining of quality assurance models, providing input based on relevant empirical information
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Work with a business analyst/project Manager to get test scenarios/cases reviewed and approved.
• Assists in the defining new tools for use in quality assessment
• Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, other departments, customer service associates, management, and peers
• Participates in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to agreed-upon functional specifications and applicable quality assurance standards
• Manages the troubleshooting and resolution of quality assurance problems and issues
• Works on the interpretation of quality assurance issues and problems for technical and non-technical personnel
