Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing facility in Andover, NJ.
Schedule Options
- Thursday – Sunday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, inspecting product quality, maintaining production records, and supporting daily manufacturing objectives. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment.
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make basic adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and quality issues.
- Package and label finished products.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of machine operation or related manufacturing experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required .
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions and production procedures.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
