Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our compassionate and multidisciplinary team. This full-time telehealth position is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those navigating trauma and mental health challenges. Our practice prioritizes trauma-informed care, ensuring our clients receive treatments tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Work Environment

This role operates entirely in a remote setting through our telehealth platform, allowing flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule. You will engage with clients during our business hours, which extend from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week. The work environment is designed to ensure you can deliver care effectively while enjoying work-life balance. Our practice also provides a supportive administrative team to facilitate scheduling and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and respective treatment needs.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, including therapeutic methodologies like EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless integrated care approach for every patient.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients feel safe and understood.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms while providing resources for support.
  • Maintain secure and accurate clinical documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge of trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus on a diverse clientele ranging from children to adults, many of whom present with trauma-related disorders. Your role is crucial in helping clients navigate their experiences, apply learned coping strategies, and foster resilience to improve their overall mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current LCPC licensure valid in Illinois.
  • A grounding in trauma-informed principles and practices, showcasing dedication to patient welfare.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, especially with trauma-focused treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
  • Enjoying the dynamic teamwork of a multidisciplinary setting and embracing additional specialized training, including working with couples.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a SIGN-ON BONUS as part of our commitment to attracting skilled professionals. Additional benefits include:
