Commercial Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Install and run EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems.
• Pull and route electrical wire and cable.
• Install and terminate panels, disconnects, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Install lighting, receptacles, switches, and other electrical components.
• Perform electrical terminations and connections according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit accurately.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify installation issues.
• Work safely and follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with foremen, other electricians, and construction trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Complete work according to quality standards, project specifications, and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Commercial electrical construction experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Experience installing and bending conduit.
• Experience pulling wire and making electrical terminations.
• Familiarity with commercial electrical systems and construction practices.
• Ability to use common electrical hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety practices.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
• Electrical license, apprentice card, or documented electrical training is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work from ladders or lifts for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to work in active construction environments.
• Ability to work at heights when required.
