Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Collaborating with a specialized technical team, the full-time Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer will provide technical leadership for the z/OS platform, ensuring high availability and security while supporting IBM z/OS-based mainframe infrastructure remotely. Key responsibilities Provide technical leadership across all aspects of the z/OS platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives and lead migration efforts for new z/OS releases Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security requirements Required qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required At least 10 years of hands-on z/OS experience, with current expertise aligned to z/OS 3.1 Deep knowledge of z/OS architecture, RACF security administration, and SMP/E maintenance Proven experience leading mainframe migration and upgrade projects Strong analytical skills in complex technical environments
