Senior Software Engineer II

Role Description

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you’ll lead complex technical initiatives and shape how we build, scale, and evolve our Nliven platform. This role is for someone who thrives on solving our hardest technical challenges while helping others grow and succeed around them.

• Deep expertise in .NET Core and strong full-stack range across modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Real appreciation for the principles of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps.
• Designing new features, optimizing critical services, or tackling tech debt head-on.
• Mentoring engineers and helping the team adopt Continuous Delivery practices.
• Partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering Leadership as part of a cross-functional, empowered product team.
• Reporting to an Engineering Manager and owning the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex projects.

This position is full-time and fully remote. Candidates must be located in specific states and may be required to travel and/or meet up in-person from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Seven or more years of full stack software development in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Strong front end experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
• Strong back-end / API experience (.NET Core).
• Deep understanding of SQL databases and data modeling best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile framework and methodologies.
• A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

• Base annual salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
