Biweekly Hours: 16.00

Shift: 7:30am-4pm, 8:30-5pm

Summary:

Performs pulmonary function tests in accordance with established procedures. Provides patient care for pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Required:


Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.


Possess and maintain an active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board.


Possess and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.


Reliable transportation to travel to designated MetroHealth locations.


Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.


Preferred:


Credentialed as a Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) by the NBRC.


Physical Requirements:May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods.See in the normal visual range with or without correction.Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.Requires some exposure to chemicals.
