Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Help patients make progress where it matters most: in their everyday lives. Choice Health at Home is looking for a compassionate, motivated COTA who enjoys building relationships and helping people regain the skills they need for greater independence.

Working with an Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide hands-on treatment that helps patients improve strength, mobility, and their ability to perform daily activities.

What you’ll do

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.

• Help patients build functional skills and work toward their therapy goals.

• Document care accurately and communicate progress to the Occupational Therapist and care team.

• Educate and encourage patients and families throughout treatment.

• Follow infection control practices and agency policies to support safe, consistent care.

What you’ll bring

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license

• CPR certification

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

• Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred

• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred

Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel for extended periods and to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.
