Committed to open standards and freedom from lock-in, Mirantis ensures that customers retain full control of their infrastructure strategy.Job DescriptionRevenue Recognition & Contract AccountingReview customer contracts, order forms, amendments, and related documentation to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606.Evaluate performance obligations and allocate transaction price based on relative standalone selling prices.Analyze revenue arrangements involving subscription services, software licenses, maintenance/support, professional services, training, and other customer offerings.Prepare and maintain revenue recognition schedules and supporting accounting documentation.Identify non-standard contract terms, including material rights, variable consideration, contract modification, and principal-versus-agent assessments, escalate complex or unusual arrangements for appropriate technical accounting review.Month-End ClosePerform monthly revenue close activities, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, contract assets/liabilities, and related reconciliations.Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between Salesforce, NetSuite, billing systems, and revenue schedules.Perform analytical reviews of revenue trends, deferred revenue, and other revenue-related metrics.Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.Systems & Process ImprovementPartner with Accounting Operations, Billing, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, and IT to ensure contracts are properly structured and processed through the revenue accounting lifecycle.Review the flow of contract information from Salesforce through NetSuite and downstream accounting processes and identify opportunities for improved automation and controls.Cross-Functional PartnershipWork closely with Sales and Deal Desk to support deal booking.Communicate accounting conclusions clearly to both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.Audit & Internal ControlsPrepare audit-ready documentation supporting revenue recognition conclusions and monthly close activities.Assist with quarterly and annual audit processes, including technical accounting inquiries and contract selections.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of accounting experience, with experience in revenue accounting preferred.Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.Experience reviewing contracts and translating contractual terms into accounting conclusions.Experience with SaaS, software, technology, or other consumption-based businesses preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet close deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Billing, Operations, and other business teams.Experience with ERP and CRM systems; NetSuite and SalesforceAdditional InformationWe offer:Operate some of the most advanced AI infrastructure environments in production today.Work with the latest NVIDIA GPU technologies, Kubernetes platforms, and high-performance networking environments.Help define operational standards and reliability practices for next-generation AI infrastructure services.Influence the adoption of AI-powered operational capabilities through k0rdent AI.Work alongside highly skilled engineers solving complex infrastructure and platform challenges at scale.Join a growing organisation investing heavily in AI infrastructure, platform services, and operational innovation.It is understood that Mirantis, Inc. may use automated decision-making technology (ADMT) for specific employment-related decisions.
