Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiology – Denver, CO When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Saint Joseph Hospital. The selected candidate will partner with 7 general and interventional cardiologists and 6 APPs to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients both inpatient and outpatient. Responsibilities Practice at Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, Colorado. Work four ten‑hour shifts during weekdays (outpatient and inpatient), with no on‑call or weekend duties. Rounding on general and interventional cardiology patients. Perform pre‑procedure work‑ups for catheterization (CATH) cases. Remove pericardial drains and temporary pacemakers when needed. After rounding, handle follow‑ups in the clinic and supervise outpatient treadmill stress testing. Manage a stable patient volume while working with complex cardiology patients. Additional details are available on our benefits page. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Valid license/certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or the ability to obtain one. DEA and prescriptive authority. BLS and ACLS certification.
